We thank Mr. Kevin Beals, Vice President and General Manager of Mercury Systems of Hudson for his generosity in granting us the use of Mercury Systems facility to operate from so we may grow our Chapter in numbers and capabilities, nourish their professional development, and collaborate with the various business and community agencies in the surrounding areas. 

Special Registration Instructions


Mercury Systems, Inc. is a cleared defense contractor, and a classified government facility.  To be granted access to the facility, please register to attend this event no later than the close of business October 1, 2018.  There are two ways to register for this event:


  • When you click on the Buy Now Button, the confirmation you receive that payment has been accepted also serves as your reservation confirmation and allows us to book your seat or seats, as appropriate, and order your meal and refreshments.  Its a one shop process.  No other action on your part is necessary.  If there is more than one individual in your party and you wish to pay using the PayPal Buy Now Button, you please select the Buy Now Button separately for each additional who will be attending.  Then, please send an e-mail to our Program Team Leader, David Anastasi, and indicate in the email the full names of the attendees and their work affiliation linked to your confirmation numbers.  Thank You!


  • When you select the Pay at Door Button, the email you generate should tell David who you are and the names of those in your party.  Receipt of your email will allow us to book your seat or seats, as appropriate, and order your meal and refreshments.  The e-mail constitutes registering for the event.  No other action on your part is necessary other than to pay at the door.  Should you desire written confirmation that we received and acted on your email, simply tell us that in your email, and David will be glad to confirm receipt of your email.  Thank you!


Please do not wait until the last minute to register.  Registering early helps us finalize logistic arrangements and the ordering of food and beverages in a timely and orderly manner.  Do it as soon as the registration period opens.  Thank you for helping us serve you better.​​​​​


​Cancellation & Refund Policy

You must cancel no later than 48 hours before the scheduled event to avoid being charged.  You may cancel  by emailing 
James Gaudet Failure to follow the cancellation policy may result in you being billed for the event.  If you have an emergency that prevents you from attending, we will work with you to (1) reimburse you, (2) credit you for a future event, or (3) you may elect to donate your fee to the Chapter fund as a Friend of the Chapter.

The Upcoming Event section offers members a quick opportunity to review the education programs in the pipeline so they can block off these events on their annual calendar.  Registering for any event is a simple one step process.  All you have to do is click on the "Buy Now"  button and your seat is confirmed.

Guest Speaker: Captain Christopher W. Vetter, NH State Police Operations, Commander


Location:  New Hampshire State Police, Headquarters, 33 Hazen Drive, Concord, NH 03302


Bio:
Captain Christopher Vetter is in his 27th year with the New Hampshire State Police and is currently assigned as a Field Commander in the Operations Bureau, overseeing Troops A, E, F and the Special Services   He is also an 18 year member of the New Hampshire State Police SWAT Unit, having served as both Team Leader and Assistant Unit Commander prior to being named Unit Commander in 2016.  The New Hampshire State Police SWAT Unit is comprised of 25 members statewide trained in the response to and mitigation of high risk incidents such as armed barricaded subjects, hostage situations and the service of high risk warrants.  Additionally, the SWAT Unit has traditionally been tasked with providing security during dignitary visits and other high profile events where their training and expertise can be useful in ensuring the safety of both the residents and visitors to the State of New Hampshire.


Topic:  NHSP SWAT Unit’s Security Role During Race Day Functions at NHMS


The New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) in Loudon, NH is the largest sports and entertainment venue in New England, and is host to the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series.  With a seating capacity of 88,000, race day makes Loudon the second most populated city or town in New Hampshire behind Manchester.  The New Hampshire State Police are tasked with assisting the Town of Loudon manage this large influx of people on race day in many ways; providing traffic control as well as providing security both inside and outside the facility.  The New Hampshire State Police SWAT Unit work hand in hand with local, county, state and federal law enforcement agencies to ensure the safety and well-being of all that attend on race day.   This is accomplished by preparing for any multitude of situations that present themselves, to include active shooters, explosive based threats or large scale civil disturbances.  Through extensive preparation and training as well as lessons learned from other domestic and foreign terrorist attacks, such as the Boston Marathon Bombing in 2013, the New Hampshire State Police SWAT Unit strives to make this event safe and enjoyable for all that attend.
